making art out of missed connections

i came across artist sophie blackall's blog - missedconnectionsny.blogspot.com - in new york magazine a few weeks ago. i love the way she transforms simple, sweet (and sometimes somewhat weird) missed connections from craigslist new york into really beautiful illustrations. and at $40 for a print, they're a nice "real art" addition to any home. these are just a few of my favorites, all for sale on etsy.com:

Oh I read about that... I'm so glad you posted these; I love the illustrative style! These would look so nice in quirky vintage frames!
