i was rummaging through my picasa folders and found these outfit in action photos that i never posted. thought i'd bring it back old skool (aka a summer work outfit from when we still lived in the apartment). banana republic top, ny&co shorts, ralph lauren wedges.

happy monday ladies! this outfit is SO comfortable and is perfect after a weekend of binging on deep dish and beer with friends in chicago. this shirt was one of my fun finds at h&m in maryland last week and it's quickly becoming a summer staple.

outfit in action: target flower child

who doesn't love a good romper from target? found this little number at my local target over the weekend and have already rocked it twice - once for fun and once for work. i was a little nervous i'd look like i'm wearing a diaper but the tight top evens it out. love it!

can't waaaaait to wear my new ralph lauren cecilia wedges that arrived this week. i saw the orange ones on a really fab looking girl at sex and the city 2 last weekend and instantly put them on my must-have list. the 3-inch heel is a great height for traipsing around the city or wearing to work with shorts or a sundress. i ordered them in both orange and cream (shhh don't tell nick).

ps. don't they totally remind you of shoes your mom wore in the 80s? something about that makes me LOVE even more!

today's outfit: belting it together

i love me some black and white, as you all know. today's outfit was built around my favorite summer belt and i love the ruffle detail on the sleeves on the top.

the olympics is the absolute best two weeks to happen every two years. YAY!!! can't wait to see the ralph lauren get-ups tonight.
