liberty of london for mac

i wrote last week about the new liberty of london collection launching at target. turns out they're also launching a line with mac! the line includes eyeshadow, lipstick, lipgloss, blush, nail polish, powder, makeup bags and a scarf, and shades look awesome and right on trend with bright corals and pinks. i think i'm going to take a trip to the domain in austin this weekend to hit up mac and forever 21!

and the oscar goes to...

it wouldn't be the monday after the oscars without a post about my favorite outfits...

#1 - maggie gyllenhaal in dries van noten. i love the graphic print (so in this season!) and her makeup was perfection.

you can channel maggie when you wear this...night and day maillot, $198 from anthropologie

#2 - sarah jessica parker in chanel couture. only sjp could pull this off.

you can channel sjp when you wear this...

yumi kim spring collection

yumi kim's spring collection just hit stores and i'm already pining away for multiple pieces. here are my top two obsessions. i just hope at least one of them stays in stock for the next sale! i'm seriously sad i'm 1,500 miles away from the sample sales [insert big frowny face here].

odd molly for odd annie

i reaaaaalllly want this four continent x-stitch dress by odd molly. it'd look so cute with that pesky pair of cowboy boots i also really want!

i love the pink, the yellow kneedlepoint details, and the blue tie waist. *sigh* if only it weren't $300! odd molly was created by two artists in stokholm and is all about uninhibited design intuition. i'm saving my pennies...and will be perusing ebay for a good deal in the meantime.

deciding between two old gringos

on sunday i went on a quick shopping trip with my friend andrea to allen's boots on south congress. now that i'm a texan i've been thinking about getting myself a pair of cowboy boots and up until sunday hadn't even tried any on. i knew the second i did would be the kiss of death.

the good ones are a serious investment and now that i've felt the buttery leather on my little piggies i don't think i can go too much longer without a pair. i know i'll wear them all the time - UT tailgating, shopping trips, out for the night, paired with a cute sundress, yadda yadda. it's just SO HARD to make the decision. here are two pairs i've found and reaallllly like. which would you get - the red statement or the brown staple?
